Peptide Therapy
What is Peptide Therapy?
Peptide therapy is a treatment that uses specific chains of amino acids (called peptides) to help signal the body to function more efficiently. Peptides naturally occur in the body and act as messengers, telling cells how to perform certain tasks.
Peptide therapy works by introducing targeted peptides that help stimulate natural processes and restore balance in the body.
Peptides can be done on their own or combined with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or Medical Weight Loss. Many patients choose to start at the same time for optimal results, as the therapies can complement one another.
However, peptide therapy is also effective as a standalone treatment depending on the patient’s goals.
