Flamingo Estate Sappho Fig Candle

Sappho Fig Candle is a sensuous, refreshing candle inspired by the fig gardens of Lesbos, the Greek island associated with the ancient poetess Sappho. Its fragrance captures the lush Mediterranean atmosphere of peak summer, blending the milky greenness of fig with fresh green stems and crushed leaves, sun-ripened fruit, and a soft, creamy base of woods and spice. Cardamom and sandalwood add warmth and depth as the fragrance develops.

The candle is hand-poured in Los Angeles using plant-based vegetable wax and a cotton wick. The fully recyclable glass vessel and FSC-certified materials reflect Flamingo Estate's focus on thoughtful, plant-based ingredients and responsible production.

For best results, allow the candle to burn for 2 to 3 hours during the first use, until the entire surface of the wax has melted. Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn and keep the wick centered. Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time, and discontinue use when approximately 1/4 inch of wax remains.
